The Antelope Hotel is a famous old coaching house on the High Street of Poole. It has been a popular meeting place through the centuries.
It still retains part of its original 15th century building. Situated so conveniently to the Poole Quay, the hotel was used by the horse coaches as a stop off for Lymington, Southampton, Bath, Bristol, Weymouth and London. Pottery has been made in Poole since Roman times and the clay in the area is among the finest in the world. The delightful museum of Poole pottery shows visitors the many processes to the finished product. Poole today, especially the Quay area, is a lively place catering for the young and old and has become a year round attraction for visitors. What's so special about us? The Dorset coast is dotted with many beautiful coves and resorts, popular with boating enthusiasts and tourists alike. The Condor and Brittany ferries for France depart from just across the road from the Antelope. There is also a ferry to Swanage.

Our new menu has been developed using only the best quality ingredients with top quality salads and vegetables from local suppliers. Also top quality cuts of English meats. Our fish are all freshly provided by local suppliers wherever possible. All meats are freshly prepared by our experienced kitchen team combining to ensure you have a great dining experience here at the Antelope.
We can easily be found at the end of the High Street by following the signs to the Old Quay.
